Road Constructor Improvements Are Under Construction
The next Road Constructor update is taking shape with gutters, curbs, sidewalks, editable junction styles, roundabouts, and a few things I am not brave enough to promise yet.
Hello everyone.
When I released the Lines & Lanes update, I said it was only the beginning. So it is time to finally prove it—and, to be honest, I am already doing it.
Back Under Construction
The next update for the Road Constructor is underway. It will bring gutters, curbs, sidewalks, editable junction styles—smooth or straight, whichever fits your road—and roundabouts.
There is also a bunch of secret stuff I have not approached yet. I am not announcing any of it until I know it works, because I would rather surprise you later than write an awkward explanation about where a promised feature went.
Your Roads, Your Rules
As usual, everything is fully customizable. Heights, widths, and textures for every element are yours to control. If you want a neat modern sidewalk, a tall curb, or something delightfully questionable, the editor will let you do it.
And, also as usual, every change appears as a live preview in the Editor. No guessing and no exporting just to discover that your curb has become a small defensive wall.
One Week, If the Roads Behave
The first big pass is already done. Right now I am polishing the features above, working through the strange junction cases, and trying to make everything feel solid instead of merely impressive in one carefully chosen screenshot.
I expect the update to land in about one week. That is the plan, at least. Roads have opinions, junctions have even more, but everything is moving in the right direction.
Stay tuned.
Cheers!
